仕事内容 Your Role
You will be working with the Regional Director ASEAN/Japan, the Branch Manager of the Japan Life/Health branch and the Head of Life/Health Underwriting of the Japan Life/Health Branch on the development of the Life and Health reinsurance business in Japan. This is a self-starting, client relationship role which demands the building of new business with the management of successful relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities

Manage and build Client Portfolio
Drive an understanding of the financial and risk management needs of clients and strategize solutions/products to meet those needs
Build and leverage C-Suite relationships across clients
Ensure the required service levels across the reinsurance relationships are met
Lead the negotiation of reinsurance treaties
Enhance and Promote the Life/Health Marketing Strategy

Promote and build the Gen Re brand throughout the Japan Life/Health market
Contribute to the development of the Japan Life/Health business strategy and lead the development of a supporting marketing strategy
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Maintain excellent relationships with reinsurance buyers in Japan
Represent Gen Re Japan in industry forums – be known as an industry expert
Create and deliver presentations and articles
Collaboration Across the Group

Build and leverage relationships across the Business Unit and Gen Re global units
People Management

Lead, coach, mentor and develop team members
Lead by example to develop an inclusive, collaborative, result-oriented environment
Operational Excellence

Responsible for the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines within the Japan Life/Health Treaty team
Oversee the workflow of the Japan Life/Health Treaty team to ensure quality, execution and timeliness of work
Responsible for routine projects such as marketing events and seminars
応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

・Possess strong C-Suite influencing skills and negotiation skills
・Good command of Business English, both spoken and written
・Fluent in reading, writing and speaking Japanese
・Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
・Detail-oriented with an analytical mind
